The King's Speech may be censored in the US →
US is considering censoring the British movie “The King’s Speech” because of the use in a few scenes of “coarse language”.
If they had the King machine gunning down people due to his frustration with his stammer rather than venting his spline there would be no problem. The NRA would make sure of that (oh, another shot at the NRA will I get more email).
I’ve...

And as I recall Obama had not a word to say about gun control in his recent “State of the Union” address.
How soon before the NRA spokesman comes to to say “If only the kids had been armed …”?

Icelandic Question
As is the family custom we read detective novels over the holiday period. This year there was a bit of a theme, with one book based in Canada and the other two in Iceland (i.e., countries that usually have more snow than Australia at Xmas).
So my question is do you actually eat smoked puffin in Iceland or is Yrsa Sigurdardottir pulling my leg?
It just seems an odd bird to eat.
