Law to take effect in Jan.; state becomes sixth to allow same-sex unions
-Sweet. The march for rights and equality is just unstoppable. Take that California.
And take that NSW whose ALP government dropped legislation to allow gay couples to adopt, in order to appease a religious nut job (Reverand Fred Nile) in the NSW Upper House so that he would vote to pass an unrelated piece of legislation.
