This one may be related to the fact that Francis Collins, geneticist and Christian evangelical, has been made head of the National Institutes of Health in the US.
It’s a bit unkind since by all accounts Collins believes strongly in evidence-based science and evolution. How he balances this with his Christian faith, is a trick that only he will probably understand.
