Arrival of European Priests "purified" the indigenous peoples of South America: Pope
The priests did such a good job it’s amazing there are any indigenous people left.
The Pope also gave out some really good advice during his tour of Brazil by advising Priests to stay out of politics. A good message there for all men and women of the cloth.
