Which produces more CO2 a nuclear plant or renewables?
In this presentation by P.L. Denholm & G.L Kulcinski of the University of Wisconsin, they look at the full life cycle of nuclear, gas, coal and renewable power plants for baseload power generation.
The found that nuclear has the lowest CO2 emissions while the renewables had almost 10 times as much but still far below the fossil fuel powered plants.
