Dawkins is a “dangerous man”.
Professor Margaret Somerville, who is currently in Sydney for the Sydney Writers Festival, in a recent article in The Sydney Morning Herald has described Richard Dawkins as a “dangerous man” and somebody who givers her “disturbed, and sleepless nights”.
Dawkins isn’t the only man who disturbs Prof Somerville’s sleep. Men who love other men seem to get the good Professor’s heart racing as well.
Despite being an ethicist Prof Somerville is also known for her strong beliefs and political lobbying against same sex marriage. Many have called her homophobic because of this strong stance against same sex marriage. She’s also against euthanasia and abortion. Which have lead some to suggest that her views are more religiously based than ethical and her becoming a bit of a poster girl for the Christian right in North America.
On the upside she likes kids so she can’t be all bad.
