Once a Muslim, always a Muslim
Malaysia’s top court has rejected a women’s appeal to be recognized as a Christian. The reason is that she was previously a Muslim and the Islamic Shariah courts do not allow Muslims to leave their religion. And in Malaysia only the Shariah courts have the power to remove the word “Islam” from the countries identity cards.
