Beware the Wrath of the Green God
Gregor Stronach doesn’t hold out much hope for humanity as a whole evolving to the point where everyone actually accepts the truth of Evolution.
However, should this occur and all the standard religions go out the window he wonders where “will the masses turn for their inspiration to do good works? To whom will the masses listen when they need to be scared into submission, for fear of invoking the wrath of an all-powerful entity?”.
Mr. Stronach thinks he knows the answer, “They will, I believe, turn to embrace the new and astonishingly popular doomsayers emerging in the new century.”
That’s Environmentalists to you and me. Heck in Australia we’ve already got Saint Bob of the droning voice [for Americans think Ralph Nader without any personality at all and you’ll get the picture], so I don’t think Stronach is too far off the mark.
