Life after heaven.
British Bishop Thomas Wright, thinks there is life after heaven for Christians. He believes that at the end of time “God will literally remake our physical bodies and return us to a newly restored planet”.
I think he’s mixing up Philip Jose Farmer’s science fiction Riverworld series for the Bible.
Not that there isn’t a precedent for this, Scientologists have been following the writings of a science fiction writer for years; and Farmer is orders of magnitude a better writer than Hubbard ever was.
NOTE: for those poor souls that haven’t read any of the Riverworld books here is a quick synopsis: “The Riverworld series follows the adventures of such diverse characters as Richard Burton, Hermann Göring, and Samuel Clemens through a bizarre afterlife in which every human ever to have lived is simultaneously resurrected along a single river valley that stretches over an entire planet.” When they resurrect they have no clothes and no body hair at all; proving once and for all that God loves Brazilians.
The first 3 books are a lot of fun, after that it starts falling apart.
