ABC Board in a state of denial.
According to Juliette Hughes the ABC’s (Australian national broadcaster) board after 10 years of being stacked, by the Howard Government, with pro-business and anti-climate change appointees has become a haven for “right-wing cultural warriors”.
Given that the ABC will be airing a totally discredited anti-climate change documentary Ms. Hughes might just be on to something.
But while the champions of the Right rant about the need for the ABC to be “balanced” and needs to discuss all sides of a debate, even positions without any supporting scientific evidence, the world heats up. Not of course that this is of any concern to the self-righteous conservative mouthpieces, when it all goes wrong they’ll just blame it on the Left. After all they can’t be wrong, they’ve got God on their side.
