A win for common sense.
A US federal judge has ruled that the University of California can deny course credits to applicants from Christian high schools whose textbooks claim that the Bible is infallible and that reject evolution.
The judge made clear that this ruling was not that the high school courses contained religious viewpoints but that they omitted important topics in science and history and failed to teach critical thinking.
