New South Wales politics just got interesting again.
Last night the Premier (like an American Governor but more disposable) of New South Wales told his Treasurer he was toast. Today the NSW ALP caucus told the Premier he was toast.
So in less than two days with no election required the state of New South Wales of Australia now has a new Premier.
The yanks have being beavering away for close to a year now and they are still several months away from picking a winner.
And in case your wondering the same thing has happened to a Prime Minister of Australia eg, when Paul Keating replaced Bob Hawke via a caucus revolt.
