Kelp is on the way for Toyota
Toyota showed off a concept car at the Melbourne Motor show which is almost entirely made of seaweed.
The seaweed was used to make the plastic used in the car.
The 500cc car weighs in at 420kg, which is half the weight of a Corolla but delivers similar performance to the 1.8-litre petrol hatch.
However, we won’t see it at the dealers anytime soon it is described as “a concept car of post-2020”.
