She's just not that into you
A study at Indiana University has found that women are very good at faking sexual interest; ie they can flirt with guys while at the same time thinking “I wish this guy would just leave me alone”.
NOTE to women who do this, if you want the guy to leave you alone then flirting with him is sending the wrong signal. We guys are simple types and we do take a lot of things at face value.
I can’t say that I’ve ever encountered this. My life experience in general has been of women showing me little sexual interest fake or otherwise.
