Difference between an Agnostic and an Atheist
An agnostic and an atheist were having a chat at a water cooler when Jesus appeared before them and said “Repent your ways and accept me as your saviour!” and then promptly vanished.
The agnostic said “There is a God” and became a Christian. The atheist said “I’m going crazy, I’m starting to see and hear things” and went to a psychiatrist.
That’s the difference between an agnostic and an atheist. An agnostic is open to new information on the existence of god where as an atheist “knows” that no such information will be forthcoming.
At least that’s how I see the difference.
