Bible Inconsistencies

Issac Asimov also wrote a guide to the Bible, which I highly recommend. My edition come in two paperbacks (one for the old and one for the new testament), it now seems to be in one hardback book.

Off topic, but still kind of fun, is this article about how flat-earthers  use the Bible to justify their beliefs.

Also there is a version of the English Standard Version of the Bible online which attempts to be a literal translation of the Bible. While there are no reader notes as such, it does try to identify situations where there is some ambiguity or alternative meaning in the translation. I personally prefer the St. James Version, love the language. It is interesting to compare the “translations” used in different English versions.
